Etymology: In honor of Erlik, Lamaist king of the dead according to a Buddhist sect in Mongolia, and Greek, sauros, “lizard”: “Erlik’s lizard”.

Etymology: In honor of the American Scientist in Central Asia, R. C. Andrews.

Holotype: GIN 100/111

Locality: Baysheen Tsav, Baishin (Bayshin-Tsav), Dornogovi, Mongolia.

Horizon: Bayan Shireh svita.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Cenomanian –Turonian Stage, Uppermiddle-uppermost Gallic Subepoch, Lower Gulf Epoch, Late Cretaceous.

Material: Skull with mandible, disarticulated cervical vertebrae, left humerus, left and right pes.
