Etymology: In reference to Rio Jacui, a river the runs in Agudo, Rio Grande do Sul State, Brazil.

Locality: Niemeyer Site, 29°40'25"S, 53°14'4.20"W, Agudo, Rio Grande do Sul State, Brazil.

Horizon: Santa Maria Supersequence, Candelaria Sequence.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Carnian Stage, Late Triassic Epoch, Late Traissic.

Material: Proximal portion of a left femur.
