Etymology: Latin, geminae, "twins"; in honor of the Suarez Sisters, and Latin,
raptor, "one who seizes or takes, by force"; a common part of deinonichosaurian
genus names.

Etymology: In honor of Dr. Celina and Marina Suarez, the twin geologists who

Horizon: Basal Yellow Cat Member, Basal Cedar Mountain Formation.
