Etymology: In reference to the Lujiatun village, Beipiao City, western Liaoning Province, Chin,
near which the holotype was found.

Locality: Lujiatun, Beipiao City, western Liaoning Province, China.
Horizon: Horizon 1, Lower part of the Yixian Formation, Jehol Group.
Biostratigraphy: Psittacosaurus Fauna, Confuciusornis Avifauna.
Age: Valanginian Stage, Upper Neocomian Subepoch, Early Early Cretaceous Epoch, Early Cretaceous.
Material: Fragmentary maxilla with some teeth, a few caudals, almost complete
fore limbs, and partial hind limbs.
