Note: Both species are named for the same specimen, and woodwardi takes presedance over lydekkeri.

Locality: Lyme Regis coast, Pinhay Bay- Charmouth, (SY 3291-SY 3794), Dorset County, England, Southern United Kingdom.
Horizon: Blue Lias.
Biostratigraphy: Bucklandi-zone?
Age: Lower Sinemurian Stage, Lias Epoch, Early Jurassic.
Material: Tooth and fragment of maxilla.
