Etymology: The specific epithet refers to Ömnögov, Mongolia, the southern Gobi provieance of this taxon.

Locality: Tugruyin Shireh, Ömnögov, Mongolia.

Horizon: Tugrungyin Member, Djakokhta Formation.

Age: Middle Campanian Stage, Senonian Subepoch, Gulf Epoch, Late Cretaceous.

Material: Braincase, frontal, axis, right ulna, ilium, femur, tibia, left metatarsus, right raptoral claw and ungual, 6 mid caudal vertebrae with 3 chevrons, sacrum and partial right leg,
