Etymology: In reference to Jiangxi Province, where the holoytpe site in Nankang City is located.

Holotype: GMNH V10003

Locality: Longling of Nankang, Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province, China.

Horizon: Nanxiong Formation.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Maastrichtian Stage, Uppermost Senonian Subepoch, Uppermost Gulf Epoch, Late Cretaceous.

Material: Partial lower jaw, 5 dorsal vertebrae, 1 and 1/2 sacral vertebrae, 9 complete and 2 partial caudal vertebrae, both scapulocoracoids, incomplete furcula, a nearly complete right humerus, complete right ilium, most of the left ilium, most of the left ilium, complete right pubis, and most of the left pubis, complete right ischium adn a partial left ischium, both femora, right tibia, and soem dorsal ribs.
