Etymology: Ostafrikasaurus, from the name used by the Germans (/Deutsch]-Ostafrika)
for the part of East Africa including Tendaguru at the time of the expeditions
of the Berlin Museum, and Greek, sauros, "lizard."
Species: crassiserratus BUFFETAUT, 2011
Etymology: Latin, crassus, "thick" and Latin, serratus, "serrated"; referrig to
the large size of the serrations on the carinae.
