Etymology: Latin, incisivi, "incisor" for its large front teeth, and the Greek, sauros, "lizard."

Species: robusta JI & JI, 1997
Etymology: Latin, robustus, "robust, strong."

Holotype: NGMC 2125

Locality: Sihetun, Shangyuan, Beipiao City, western Liaoing Province, northeastern China.

Horizon: Horizon 1, Lower part of the Yixian Formation (Jiulongsong Member of Chaomidianzi Formation), Jehol Group.

Biostratigraphy: Psittacosaurus Fauna, Confuciusornis Avifauna.

Age: Valanginian Stage, Upper Neocomian Subepoch, Early Early Cretaceous Epoch, Early Cretaceous.

Material: Fragmentary skull and fragmentary skeleton with feather impressions.

Age: Valanginian Stage, Upper Neocomian Subepoch, Early Early Cretaceous Epoch, Early Cretaceous.

Material: An almost complete skull and a partial cervical vertebra.
