Etymology: The specific epithet referes (Hindi) to the denizens of Gujarat province.

Locality: Near Rahioli village, 23°3'26.2"N, 73°20'30.8"E, Kheda District, Gujarat State, India.

Horizon: Mudstone unit of the Lameta Formation.
