Etymology: Rioja in reference to La Rioja Province, Spain, the Spanis region where the holotype speicmen was recovered and Latin, venatrix, "huntress."

Etymology: Latin, lacus, "lake", related ot the lake.

Holotype: CPI 1640-CPI 1648, CPI 1675-1677.

Locality: Virgen de Villar-1 site, La Rioja Province, Spain.

Horizon: Enciso Group.
