Etymology: ashile, in reference to the old Öösh locality and formation named used by Dr. Henry F. Osborn.

Holotype: IGM 100/1119

Locality: Öösh (old Ashile), Baykhangor, Mongolia.

Horizon: Ohshih Formation (Ashile Formation).

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Aptian-Albian Stage, Middle Gallic Subepoch, Upper Early Cretaceous Epoch, Early Cretaceous.

Material: Nearly complete right maxila, dentary, and partial splenial.
