Etymology: In honor of Timothy Rich and Timothy Flannery and Greek,-mimus, “mimic,” suffix on most previously named ornithomimosaurs.

Etymology: In honor of John Herman.

Locality: Dinosaur Cove East, Otway Ranges, Victoria State, Southern Australia.

Horizon: Emueralla Formation, Otway Group.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Late Aptian-early Albian Stage, Middle Gallic Subepoch, Upper Early Cretaceous Epoch, Early Cretaceous.

Material: Left femur.
