Etymology: Latinized Mapuche indian, unen, "half" and lag, “bird.”

Etymology: From Comahue, a Mapuche name referring to North-West Patagonia.

Locality: Sierra del Portezuelo, Neuquen Province, Argentina.

Horizon: Rio Neuquen Formation.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Neuquenian Tetrapoda Assemblage, Upper Turonian or Coniacian Stage, Lower Senonian Subepoch, Lower Gulf Epoch, Early Late Cretaceous.

Material: Left scapula, left humerus, 2 dorsal vertebrae, nearly complete pelvis, left femur, left tibiae, and 2 caudal chevrons.

Species: paynemili CALVO, PORFIRI & KELLNER, 2005
Etymology: In honor of Maximino Paynemil, the chief of the Paynemil Indian community that lives in the region of Loma de La Lata, where the Futalognko site is situated.

Locality: Futalognko Quarry, north coast of Barreales Lake, Neuquen Province, Patagonia, Argentina.

Horizon: Portezuelo Formation, Upper Rio Neuquen Subgroup, Middle Neuquen Group.
