Etymology: Wiehen, for the Wiehengebirge, a chain of hills
south of Minden, north-eastern
Northrhine-Westphalia State, Germany, where the holotype was found, and Latin, venator, "hunter"; the
gender is masculine.

Etymology: In honor of Friedrich Albat, who discovered the holotype.
