Etymology:

Holotype: YLSNHM-00005

Locality: Approximatly 350 km west of the main fossil quarries of the Jianshangou Bed, and 150 km north of Bejing, Sichakou Basin, Fengning Autonomous County, Hebei Province, China.

Horizon: Sichakou Member, Huajiying Formation.

Biostratigraphy: Protopteryx horizon.

Age: Early Cretaceous.

Material: Sacrum, proximal caudal series, partial pelvis and hind limbs.
