Locality: 350m from the base of the Upper Stream Dam, Shangyu reservoir, Yangchuan County, Sichuan (Szechwan) Province, China.

Horizon: Shangshaximiao Formation.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Bathonian-Callovian Stage, Dogger Epoch, or Oxfordian Stage, Lower Malm Epoch, Early Late Jurassic.

Material: A complete skeleton lacking forelimb and distal caudals.

Etymology: Latin, magnus, "large or great."

Locality: Hongjiang Machine Factory, Bishan, outskirt of Yangchuan town, Yangchuan County, Sichuan (Szechwan) Province, China.

Horizon: Shangshaximiao Formation.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Bathonian-Callovian Stage, Dogger Epoch, or Oxfordian Stage, Lower Malm Epoch, Early Late Jurassic.

Material: Fragmentary skull, mandible, 3 cervicals, two dorsals, and 6 caudals, a complete pelvis.

Material: Incomplete skeleton including large number of premaxillary and maxillary teeth, cervicals 2 through 8 (articulated), 8 disarticulated dorsals (1-4, 7-10), 1 sacral, 18 disarticulated caudals, fragmentary scapula and coracoid, left and right humeri, right and left ulnae and radii, 2 carpals (?radiale and ?intermedium), left MC I, II, and III and right MC III, manual phalanges, incomplete left ilium, incomplete ischia, incomplete pubes, left femur, left and right tibiae, right and left fibulae, right and left astragali and calcanea, MT I, II, III, and IV, pedal phalanges, ribs and gastralia.

Locality: Dashanpu (Dashanpu Dinosaur Quarry), lat. 29°5’N, long. 104°50’E, situated 11 km east of Zigong City, 250 km south of Chengdu, Hechuan County, Sichuan Basin, Sichuan (Szechwan) Province, China.

Horizon: Xaishaximiao (Shaximiao) Formation.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Bathonian-Callovian Stage (DONG & TANG, 1984), Middle-Upper Dogger Epoch, Middle Jurassic.

Material: 10 cervical, 13 dorsal, 5 sacrals, and 25 caudal vertebrae, a complete left fore limb, right scapular and pelvic girdle.

Referred material:

ZDM 9012: Left maxilla.

ZDM 9013: 2 teeth.

ZDM 9014: Right femur, tibia and fibula.
