Etymology: Latin, porus, “porous” and Latin, tuber, “node”; in reference to the location of pore openings on nodes.

Species: warnerensis ZELENITSKY, HILLS & CURRIE, 1996
Etymology: In reference to Warner County, Southern Alberta Province, Canada; in which the type specimen was found.

Holotype: RTMP 94.157.60

Locality: Little Diablo’s Hill, Devil’s Coulee, Warner County, Southern Alberta Province, Canada.

Horizon: Oldman Formation, middle Judith River Group.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Judithian age, Middle Campanian Stage, Senonian subepoch, Upper Gulf epoch, Late Cretaceous.

Material: Single eggshell fragment.

Note: Probably small theropod.
