Note: “At Khermin-Tsav and Khulsan P. fluxuosum predominates markedly over P. sincerum (the distribution of these two forms by area and by beds at these localities is unknown). At the same time the bone remains of the protoceratopsian Breviceratops kozolowskii predominate here over those of Protoceratops andrewsi. At Tugrikiyin-Shire, where Protoceratops skeletons are very numerous but Breviceratops remains are unknown, there are also not eggs of P. fuxuosum. On this basis it might be concluded that the P. fluxuosum eggs were laid by Breviceratops. However, at Bian-Dzak, where both forms of eggs occur, Breviceratops remains are unknown (although it should be noted that the PIN collection includes not only reliably identified egg of P. fluxuosum from Bain-Dzake, and all the sculptured eggs belong to Elongatoolithus).”
