Etymology: Areny is named after Aren (Areny in the Catalan language), the
locality where ELI-1 was found, and Greek, souchus, "crocodile", leading to
Latin, suchus.
Species: gascabadiolorum PUERTOLAS, CANUDO & CRUZADO-CABALLERO,

Etymology: The specific epithet of "gascabadiolorum" is dedicated
to the researchers Jose Manuel Gasca and Ainara Badiola, who discovered the
holotype.
