Holotype:

Locality: Lowndes County, Alabama.

Horizon: Marine chalk of the Mooreville Formation.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Lowermost Campanian Stage, Senonian Subepoch, Gulf Epoch, Late Cretaceous.

Material: A partial skull, nearly complete left mandible, and isolated teeth.
Note: The mandible is 1120 mm.
