Genus: Krabisuchus MARTIN & LAUPRASERT, 2010
Etymology: In reference to the locality it was discovered in, Krabi Province, Southern Thailand and Greek, souchos, "crocodile".

Species: siamogalicus MARTIN & LAUPRASERT, 2010
Etymology: 'Siam" in refernce to the ancient name of Thailand and 'Gallicus' in reference to the ancient name of France. The species name 'siamogallicus' refers to the Thai-Franco collaboration, whose members contributed to teh collection and study of the fossil crocodiles from Krabi.

Holotype: Kr-C-012

Locality: Krabi, Muang and Kuea Khlong Districts, Krabi Province, Southern Thailand.

Horizon: Lignite beds.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Priabonian, Late Eocene Epoch, Lower Paleogene Period, Lower Tertiary Subera, Cenozoic Era.

Material: A complete skull associated with mandibular rami.
