Etymology: In honor of the collector Dr. Brian D. E. Chatterton.

Holotype: UALVP 15682

Locality: From beds 515 m in section AV1 of Over and Chatterton, Mackenzie Mountains, Northwest Territories Province, Canada.

Horizon: Unit 1R, Delorme Group.

Age: Early Wenlockian Epoch, Early Middle Silurian.

Material: Complete articulated specimen.

UALVP 15680: An articualted anteriorhalf of an indifivual with ventral shield and curshed oral area exposed.

UALVP 28216: An articualted individual in dorsal view, lackign the anteriror and posterior extremities.

UALVP 29926: Complete individual with its anterior half, including ventral shield and crushed oral area, exposed.
