Etymology: In honor of Dr. John Maisey for his outstanding contrubitons to our understanding of the evolution and anatomy of sharks.

Etymology: In honor of the late Dr. Errol I. White, F.R. S., to commemorate his contributions to the study of Palaeozoic fishes in Australia and Antartica.

Holotype: CPC15765, 25766

Locality: A small Limestonee outcrop in the southern part of Toomba Range, Western Flank of Toko Syncline, Georgina Basin, approximate latitude and longitude 23(23’47”S, 138(08’10”E, grid reference 073101, Abudda Lakes, 1:100 000 sheet,  Queensland State, Central Australia.

Horizon: Cravens Peak Beds.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Early-Middle Devonian.

Material: 2 teeth.

Referred material:

CPC 25767: Half a crown.
