Ichnogenus: Boutakioutichnium NOURI, DIAZ-MARTINEZ & PEREZ-LORENTE, 2011
Etymology: In honor of Dr. Mohamed Boutakiout, professor at the University of Rabat in recognition of his social scientific work and devoted to the protection of M'Gourn natural area (Azilal Province, Morocco), especially its dinosaur footprints outcrops, and Latinized from Greek, ichnium, “track.”

Ichnospecies: atlasicus NOURI, DIAZ-MARTINEZ & PEREZ-LORENTE, 2011
Etymology: From Atlas, the name of the mountains where the footprints were found.

Holotype: Footprint 11IGR1.4 (It has beeen deposited a plaster cast in Musee de Geologied'Azilal, MGP, 1, 2022.7

Locality: Near Taghbalout, Iouaridene, Azilal Province, Morocco.

Horizon: Iouaridene Formation.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Oxfordian-Kimmeridgian Stage, Lower-Middle Malm Epoch, Early-Middle Late Jurassic.

Material: Tetradactly track.
