Etymology: In reference to the country of Brazil, where the footprints were found, and Latinized from Greek, ichnius, “track”: Brazil track.

Locality: Sao Bento (Corpedras) Quarry, Ouro, Araraquara County, Sao Paulo State, Brazil.

Horizon: Botucatu Formation, Sao Bento Group.

Horizon: Botucatu Formation.
