Etymology: Named after
the type locality, Shiramine Village, Honshu Island, Central Japan.
Holotype: ISBEV003
Locality: Roadside cliff of Kuwajima in Shiramine Village, Ishikawa Prefecture, Lat. 36°11’N, Log. 136°39’E, Honshu Island, Central Japan.
Horizon: From the Akaiwa sandstone member, middle part of the Akaiwa subgroup.
Biostratigraphy:
Age: Early Cretaceous.
Material: A single natural cast and its mold.
