Locality: Double Hollow Amphibian Locality, in an abandoned coal mine located on Lookout Mountain, lat. 34°32’44”N, long. 85°30’12W, in the northwest corner of Chatooga County, Georgia.

Horizon: Whitwell Shale Member, Crab Orchard Mountain Formation immediately underlying a large lens of the Newton Sandstone Member and overlying the Number 4 Coal.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Early Pennsylvanian.
