Etymology: In reference to Burgos, the Spanish province where the tracks were found.

Holotype: LS7B,3m, LS7B,3p

Locality: Quintanilla de las Vinas, Burgos Province, Spain.

Horizon: Upper part of the Rupelo Formation.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Tithonian Stage, Late Malm Epoch, Late Jurassic-Berrisian Stage, Early Neocomian Subepoch, Early Early Cretaceous Epoch, Early Cretaceous (Tithonina-Berriasian interval).
