Etymology: Latin, magnus, “large”, Latin, avis, “bird”, and Latin, pes, “foot”: Large bird foot.

Etymology: In honor of Bill Rowe, whose mapping the tracksite provided the framework for the study of the Woodbine trackways.

Holotype: Artificial cast, DMNH, Dallas Museum of Natural History 918.

Locality: Southern Methodist University Locality 234, Denton County, Texas.

Horizon: Woodbine Formation.

Age: Cenomanian Stage, Uppermiddle Gallic Subepoch, Lowermost Gulf Epoch, Middle Cretaceous.

Material: Right print, number 3 in trackway 1.

Horizon: Upper part of South Platte Formaiton.
