Etymology: Ornithopod and Greek, ichnus, "track."

Etymology: In reference to Masan City, Goseong County, South Goseong Province, Southern Korea.

Holotype: NHC1001

Locality: Road cut between Daepyeongri and Jisanri villages, Jinbuk-myeon, Masan City, 128°40'E, 35°10'N, about 40 km west from Busan  City and about 40 km northeast of the Goseong Dinosaur tracksite, Goseong County, South Goseong Province, Southern Korea.

Horizon: Lower part of the Jindong Formation, Hayang Group.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Early Cretaceous.

Material: Trackway 5.

Paratypes:

NHC 1002-1005: Trackways 1-4.
