Etymology: In reference to Patagonia, where the tracks are from and ichnum, recommended when referring to ichnites and Latin, ornis, 'bird', and Latin, pes, 'foot'.

Etymology: In dedication to the Venetians, represented yb those who visited Patagonia.

Holotype: CICRN 15-IV-78/1/#I

Locality: Monton Ilo Quarry, Rio Negro Province, Patagonia, Arentina.

Horizon: Angostura Colorada Formation.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Campanian-Maastrichtian Stage, Senonian Subepoch, Gulf Epoch, Late Cretaceous.

Material: 5 tracks.

Referred material:

On the same slab are at least 7 partially preserved traks and several digit impressions.
