Holotype: Gmr 009 (Currently in the possession of Guanling County Goverment. The specimens offically belong to the collections of the Geological Survey of Guizhou Province and are available for limited comparative studies but not for redescription)
Locality: Xinpu, Guanling County, Guizhou Province, China.
Horizon: Wayao Member, Falang Formation.
Biostratigraphy:
Age: Carnian Stage, Lower Late Triassic Epoch, Late Triassic.
Material: Skull and nearly complete skeleton lacking the tail, most of the pelvis and hindlimbs.
