Etymology: Latin, lenta (Latin for 'pliant'), "manus" and Latin, suchus, "crocodile or crocodile-like reptile".
Species: hubeiensis QIAO, IIJIMA & LIU, 2025
Etymology: In reference to theHubei province, the provenance of the new species.
Holotype: HFUT YZSB-19-100
Locality: Yingzishan Quarry, Yuan'an County, Hubei Province, China.
Horizon: Third Member, Jialingjiang Formation.
Biostratigraphy:
Age: Spathian Stage, Olenekian, Late Scythian Epoch (Early Triassic Epoch), Late Early Triassic.
Material: Fragmentary skeleton missing the cervicals, skull and tail.
