Etymology: From the pseudoscythica Zone, where the fossils of the ichthyosaur were found.

Age: Late Jurassic.

Material: Occipital region, pariteials, nasals, jaw bones, teeth, pectoral girdle, forelimbs, vertebral column, (60 vertebrae).

SRM Hb 30192: Occipital doncyles, fragmentary lower jaw, incomplete vertebral column, fragmentary ribs, both humeri, elements of epipodium and autopodium and right femur of one individual.

Material: Fragmentary skull, humeral girdle, forelimbs, vertebral column (60 vertebrae) and ribs.
