Etymology: In reference to Thailand where the specimen was found, and Greek, sauros, “lizard”: Thai lizard.

Etymology:

Holotype: TF2454 kept in the Department of Mineral Resources of Bangkok, Thailand.

Locality: Khao Thong Hill, near Phaatalung, Southern Peninsula, Thailand.

Material: Fragmentary skull, part of the right fore-limb, part of the left hind-limb, part of the vertebral column.

Referred material:

2 much weathered natural impressions without bones.
