Etymology: In honor of Hafid Saber, professor of geology at the Chouaib Doukklai Uinversity El Jadid, Morocco, who has initiated the detailed palaeontological and biostratigraphical investigation of the Carboniferous Souss Basin.

Holotype: CDUE 801a part, CDUE 801b counterpart.

Locality: CDUE locality 83, N30°38.956', W009°05.287', mountain road from El Menizla to Agadir Ou Anzizen, Ida ou Zal sub-basin of the Souss Basin, western High Atlas, south-central Morocco.

Horizon: Grayish-black lacustrine mudstone of the upper part of the El Menizal Formation.
