Locality: It was found in the core of an upright lycopod stump at the alus of the main bluff near the midpoint of West Bay, southwest of Arrsboro, Cumberland County, Nova Scotia Province, Canada.

Horizon: Parrsboro Formation, in the Mabou Group.

Biostratigraphy:

Age Late Westphalian A, Middle Silesian Series, Upper Bashkirian – Lower Moscovian Epoch, Middle Carboniferous (Middle Pennsylvanian).

Material:

MCZ 2774: Fragmentary skull and a clavicle.

Counterpart: Fragments of the skull.
