Etymology:
= Archegosaurus dyscriton (STEEN, 1938) MILNER, 1978
Holotype: NMP 6163
Locality: Kostalov, a village in the north-east Bohemian region, 17 km east of Tuurnov and 36 km west of Trutnov, Semily District, Czech Republic.
Horizon: The Kost'alov-Kalna horizon in the upper part of the Libstat Formation.
Biostratigraphy:
Age: Autunian Regional Stage, Asselian/Sakmarian Stage, Cisuralian (Rotliegendes) Epoch, Early Permian.
Material: Skull, clavicle and interclavicle.

Etymology: In honor of the famous hunter of fossils from the Rotliegend of the Thuringian Forest and especially of the here described holotype specimen - Andree Amelang from Stützerbach/Ilmeanu.
Holotype: NHMS-WP10000a-j
Locality: Spersbach creek in the forest ESE of the Schmücke settlement near Gehlberg village, N50°39'11.5", E010°46'45.0", Thuringian Forest Mountains, Thuringian State, Germany.
Horizon: Lower Goldlauter Formation.
Biostratigraphy:Gray-green to gray-blakc laminated pelitic beds of the Sperbersbach lake horizon from the Lower Acanthodes-Horiz0n, Sperberbach lake Horizon.
Age: Asselian Stage, Cisuralian (Rotliegendes) Epoch, Early Permian.
Material: Anterior subcomplete skeleton with dorsal and palatal view of the skull, pectoral girdle, humerus, vertebrae and ventral scales.
Paratype:
