Genus: Nooxobeia GEE, SCOTT, & REISZ, 2018
Etymology: Arapaho, nooxobe, 'frog'. The Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes are a united tribe of southern Cheyenne and southern Arapaho peoples whose present-day tribal jurisdiction in weastern Oklahoma includes Blaine County, from which the holotype was collected.

Etymology: The specific name is derived from the slender and elongate proportions of the limbs.

Material: Fragmentary skull and fragmentary skeleton.
