Locality: Nyrany (Nurschan), Plzen Basin, Bohemia, Czech Republic.

Horizon: Gaskohl.


Age: Upper Westphalian D, Lower Upper Silesian Series, Desmoniensean, Upper Myachkovskian Stage, Upper Moscovian Epoch, Late Carboniferous (Late Pennsylvanian).

Material: Well-preserved skull and partial postcranial skeleton.

Etymology: In reference to the type locailty Montceau-les-Mines, France

Holotype: MHNA-3127a

Locality: Coal mine in Commentary, northern part of the Massif Central, Department Allier, France.

Horizon: Grande Couche (large seam or coalbed).


Age: Stephanian B/C, Gzhelian Epoch, Late Pennsylvanian Subperiod, Late Carboniferous Period.
