Genus: Panthasaurus CHAKRAVORTI & SENGUPTA 2018
Etymology: Sanskrit, pantha (pronounced Pantho), "traveller" and Greek, sauros, "lizard,", the travelling bveast, alludes to the geographically distant metoposaurids population of India, especially from Nroth American and European populations.
