Holotype: MNG 10182

Locality: Bromacker locality, of the middle part of the Thuringian Forest near the Village of Tambach-Dietharz and about 20 km south of the town of Gotha, Gotha District, Thuringa State, central Germany.

Horizon: Uppermost level of 60 m thick middle sandstone unit, Tambach Formation.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Lowermost unit of the upper Rotliegend Epoch, Early Permian.

Material: Greater portions of the cranium with attached mandibles and a closely associated anterior portion of the postcranium that includes several articulated neural arches with ribs, greater portions of the left shoulder girdle, humer, right radius and ulnae and a femur.
