Etymology:
Lectotype: HLD-V 607 (Fund II)
Locality: Sandstone quarry at Queck near Fulda, Fulda-Valley, Northeastern Hessen State, Germany.
Horizon: s4/s5, Volpriehausen or Detfurth Formation, Middle Buntsandstein.
Biostratigraphy:
Age: Spathian Stage, Upper Scythian Epoch, Early Triassic.
Material: A partial skull with mandibles and nearly complete postcranial skeletons.
Referred material:
HLMD-V 608 (Fund I): A nearly complete vertebral column consisting of 24 presacral and at least 8 caudal vertebae and ribs, left clavicle, cleithrum, scapula, and a complete right pelvis.
