Age: Duckmantian, Upper Westphalian, Lower Upper Silesian series, Moscovian Epoch, Middle Carboniferous (Early Middle Pennsylvanian).

Material: Imperfect skull and skeleton in part and counterpart.

Note: Per CARROLL, BOSSY, MILNER, ANDREWS & WELLSTEAD, 1998…The holotype and three other juvenile specimens and eight >adult< specimens are all in HM. A slab with isolated vertebrae and ribs in BMNH. The juvenile specimens were originally described by HANCOCK & ATTHEY as Urocordylus reticulates and the adult material as Batrachiderpeton lineatum. Watson 1913 referred the juvenile material to Keraterpeton (as Ceraterpeton). The juvenile and adult material were synonymies by MILNER 1980…
