Etymology:
Holotype: KU VP47367
Locality: Roadcut on Kansas State Highway 99, 1.5 miles northwest of Eskridge, Wabaunsee County, Kansas.
Horizon: Lower part of Speiser Shale, Council Grove Group.
Biostratigraphy:
Age: Early Permian.
Material: A nearly complete, articulated skull with left lower jaw in place,
but the right displaced below the skull, a few vertebrae and a humerus.
