Species: swisshelmense THAYER, 1985
Etymology:
Holotype: UALP 5169
Locality: UALP 7205, Swisshel Mountains, Cochise County, Arizona.
Horizon: Black Prince Limestone, one meter below contact with overlying Pennsylvanian Horquilla limestone.
Biostratigraphy:
Age: Late Morrowan or earliest Derryan (equivalent to Langsettian – Duckmantia boundary), Westephalian, lower upper Silesian, upper Bashkrian or lower Moscovian Epoch, early Pennsylvanian (Late Carboniferous).
Material: A dorsal vertebra lacking the left rib-bearers and the right posterior neural arch and centrum.
