Locality: Broxburn, West Lothian Province, Scotland, northern United Kingdom.

Horizon: Pumpherston Oil Shale (curly seam), Lower Oil Shale Group.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Visean, upper Dinantian series, Asbian Stage,Visean Epoch, Early Carboniferous (Middle Mississippian).

Material: Fragmentary skull and fragmentary skeleton.
