Horizon: Canneloid shale underlying Upper Freeport Coal, Allegheny Group.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Upper Westphalian D, Lower Upper Silesian series, Myachkovskian stage, Upper Moscovian Epoch, Middle Pennsylvanian (Late Carboniferous).

Locality: UALP 7205, Swisshel Mountains, Cochise County, Arizona.

Horizon: Black Prince Limestone, one meter below contact with overlying Pennsylvanian Horquilla limestone.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Late Morrowan or earliest Derryan (equivalent to Langsettian – Duckmantia boundary), Westephalian, lower upper Silesian, upper Bashkrian or lower Moscovian Epoch, early Pennsylvanian (Late Carboniferous).

Material: A posterior braincase fragment including a notochordal pit, the right exoccipital, and part of the right posterior otic capsule.
