Etymology: In honor of Orville Bonner of KUVP, who preparied the specimen; 'Bonner's Broad-tooth.'

Holotype: KU VP47367

Locality: Roadcut on Kansas State Highway 99, 1.5 miles northwest of Eskridge, Wabaunsee County, Kansas.

Horizon: Lower part of Speiser Formation (Shale), Council Grove Group.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Cisuralian, Sakmarian stages, Middle Rotliegendes Epoch, Early Permian.

Material: A nearly complete, articulated skull with left lower jaw in place, but the right displaced below the skull, a few vertebrae and a humerus.
